Would you like to sing but have never tried it before? Or do you just want to meet once a week and sing with other wonderful people? Then Hornbækhus Community Choir is a beginner’s choir that is just right for you! Here, it’s not about hitting the high notes perfectly – it’s about having fun together, feeling the community, and enjoying the music.

We start completely from scratch, and you don’t need to be able to read music or have any choir experience. There are no performance requirements – only the desire to participate. Come as you are and help create a safe and cozy space where we together discover the joy of singing and singing in a choir.

We begin with unison songs, and Anne will teach you how to hold the notes and also what it means to sing in a choir. When we’re ready, we’ll dive into easy two-part songs. We hope you feel like coming and singing with us.

The choir will be led by Anne Lünell, who has extensive experience in singing instruction and as a choir leader. Anne has taught solo singing for over 20 years and has been active in the theater group Mastodonterne since 2002 – first as a singer and most recently as a vocal coach.

Practical information:
• Start: Tuesday, April 7, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks. We meet 9 times. (last session on June 2, 2026)
• Time: Every Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Place: Hornbækhus, Skovvej 7, Hornbæk
• Price: 800 DKK for the entire course
